I was subjected to a veryy unexpected environment when I went to the military care facilities. Before I mention what that was, let me offer this...there are some physicians in the military who do not let a persons life status cloud their judgment when it comes to treating them as a patient.
I recently was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Apparently this is a fairly common condition in our country and doesn't seem to be that big of a deal to most folks. But for me, a dependent wife of a retired member of one of our nations militaries, it explains a lot. Looking back over the past I see how this insidious condition had totally affected not only my life, but those of my family as well.
